To set up your account, simply sign up for the Performidi® platform and confirm your email. During the sign-up process, we gather all the information we need to get you started.
Go to performidi.com/sign-up, or click the Try Now arrow icon at the top right corner of the page to begin the sign up process.
Set your account type to Performer. Provide your first name, last name, and email address, and create a password with 8 or more characters. After clicking Submit, you will be taken to a secondary sign up page. Here, you can enter your preferred genres and instruments, generate a username, add your phone number, and adjust notification settings. We recommend keeping notifications turned on so you can get first dibs on the highest-paying gigs.
To keep your account and banking information safe, you'll need to confirm your connected email address before you can create your first project. Once the sign up process is completed, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your email and finish setting up your account.
Performidi collects your payments upfront, so you get paid for your work, every time. Once you've completed your first project, you'll need to connect your bank account so you can get paid. Our Payment Setup help article walks you through each step for connecting your bank account and cashing out.
Your account settings and information can be edited through the Settings page, which can be accessed by clicking the icon at the top left of the Performidi dashboard. Here, you can change your instrument(s), avatar, favorite genres, username, email, phone number, and notification preferences. Click here to go to Account Settings.
Click on your favorite avatar image in the Select Avatar section on the Settings page. The image will light up once selected. Click Save to confirm your new avatar.
Select your preferred genres in the Select Genres section on the Settings page. If you can't find your exact genre, select the most similar genre. For example, for 'Trip Hop', you could select 'Hip Hop'.
Are you a multi-instrumentalist? Did you forget to add an instrument during sign up? Click on the Select Instruments dropdown to edit your instrument settings. You'll only be able to see available projects for your selected instrument(s).
You can view and change your connected email address in the Email section on the Settings page. If you need to connect a new email to your account, simply type in your new email and click Save. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your new email address. After clicking on the link in the confirmation email, your new email address will be connected to your account. Until you confirm your new email address, email communications will still be sent to your previous email. Only one email can be connected to your account at a time.
Your connected phone number can be found in the Phone section on the Settings page. If you need to update your phone number, simply type in your new number and click Save. You will receive a confirmation text to verify the new number. Click on the confirmation link in the text, and your new phone number will be connected to your account. Until you confirm your new phone number, text notifications will still be sent to your previous number. Only one phone number can be connected to your account at a time.
The username generator automatically creates a random username for you. Click Regenerate to create a new username. Once you are satisfied with your username, make sure not to click Regenerate again — you won't be able to get it back.
